The campground is tucked into the woods on Bass Lake with about a fifteen minute walk from Lake Michigan public access beach. We did not use the common building but it has a pool table, gathering area, clean showers among other things. The park infrastructure is excellent with upgraded modern electric pedestals with cable tv if you wish, newer faucets and newer lidded sewer inlets with threaded flanges. Lots are level gravel pads with lots of mature trees. Just a wonderful place to camp…try it, you’ll like it!

This place is great. It is quaint and quite but perfect for a Michigan camping experience. The owners are by far some of the kindest most helpful people you will ever meet. We had issues on arrival and with our camper and they went above and beyond to help us. Highly recommend this place.

Life doesn't get much better! This campground is situated between Bass Lake and Lake Michigan. We booked on Airbnb in the rustic cabin. Seems like mostly seasonal trailers but everyone is exceptionally friendly! Bathhouse is average but definitely adequate. Fun lodge area with pool table, foosball, pingpong, air hockey, board games, books, and lounging. I stayed from a Sunday - Thursday. My main objective was to take my jeep on Silver Lake sand dunes. Had a great time! And had time to enjoy all that northern Michigan offers!

Stayed here Labor Day week in spot 41. Was very busy that weekend but cleared out after the holiday. Dog friendly and great wi-fi. Nice small walk through the wooded trail gets you to Bass Lake where there is a small beach. Perfect to watch the sunrise. Not too far from Lake Michigan. Just a quick drive up the road and around the corner is an amazing section of beach to watch the sunset. One of the best views around. Only downside is that the water used throughout the park is well water and I think contains sulfur which stunk up the rv when using it. And the spot I was in had a lot of acorns falling down directly on top of the roof so it would startle me every so often. But that's nature. If I were to stay again I'd want spot 63, 64, 70 or 75. Those are a bit more secluded. The perks... Enjoyed having cable to watch. They were kind enough to let me borrow the wire to hook it up. They offer garbage pick up. Just set it out in front of your site. Need ice, call the office and they'll have it delivered. All and all great friendly staff, nice quiet park, beautiful views.

One of the best parts of this place is the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. If you need anything from the front, such as wood, then they bring it right to your site of their little golf cart. They also pick up your trash.

Cannot say enough nice things about this campground and it's STELLAR staff. We felt so welcomed. The entire team there was so helpful, accommodating and just awesome! They helped us get hooked up, brought us snacks, stopped by and said hello. The campground is set up wodnerfully between Bass Lake and Lake Michigan - we had an amazing time taking the short walk to both, especially Lake Michigan. We loved that we were in between Hart, Pentwater and Ludington and made quick trips to all to check things out. Plenty of local hiking trails, we actually hiked ourselves right into bed the one night after doing about 11 miles. The grounds at the camp are set up beautifully - we even had a little deck! The lodge is a step into the past with modern amenities like tvs. There are boat rental options there as well. We loved that the camp was quiet. - just fantastic experience and we will absolutely be back.
